Photojournalism with the local dailies and national newspaper later honed
his photographic skills and artistic concepts. He is one of the most awarded
photographers of Davao City with national recognitions from the Davao Catholic
Mass Media Awards in 2001, the Epson Photo imaging Exposition in 2006, the
Lasalian Scholarum Awards in 2007 and the 1st PAL national photo contest.
He has earned distinction as photographer by numerous award-giving bodies
in Davao City.
